First meeting with Alzheimer's CAS group

Today I had my first CAS meeting with the Alzheimer's CAS group. I was not able to attend any of the previous meetings since i was training for SAISA swimming. Even though i have missed out on the meetings, i got updates from my piers and therefor took part in the voucher selling. I was given three booklets containing vouchers which would raise awareness, each voucher costing 50 rupees, I made 1500 rupees.
At today's meeting we discussed future plans but mostly reflected on how much money the group made selling vouchers. We discussed future plans into going to the Alzheimer's hospital to actually see for first hand what is the cause we are helping with our actions.

SAISA Swimming 2010

23th- 27th Ocotber 2010 SAISA Swimming

S.A.I.S.A swimming 2010 in Bombai. We had recently, this weekend traveled from Colombo to Bombay to take part in the 2010 SAISA swimming championships. Following up the months of training we have received from out coaches, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Each training being 1 and half hours long. We had a successful weekend. The OSC team came in on 6th place out 8 international schools.
I had swam 4 events with 2 relays. I completed my heats for this events in either first or second place. The events which i was required to swim were, 50 meter freestyle, 100 meters freestyle, 100 meters backstroke and 100 meters breaststroke. In entering the finals in each of my races i was then to swim against the fastest swimmers in the event. The only race which i struggles in was in my 100 meter final for backstroke where my shoulder got locked and i was unable to continue the race and had to get out of the pool. Through this experience I have met many new friends and met with past friends which i have met on different SAISA's.
