IB ISTA Workshop

ISTA ( http://www.ista.co.uk/taps )  took place from the 27th till the 31st of October. We left the school campus at 9:30, where we began our trip to Jakarta, having a two hour stopover in Bangkok, arriving in Jakarta on the 27th late afternoon.
This trip was taken in order to develop our performance skills and acting skills on stage and behind the camera. Through these four days we underwent a series of exercises that tested our abilities mentally and physically. We received two master classes, which are special clinics which specialize in a specific acting skill on and off the stage. We filled out the day with normal drama classes which were mean to develop our drama skills as a whole, learning different skills and learning how to apply them.
We started these classes at 9 am in the morning and finishing at around 9 pm. We ended out long working days with different traditional Indonesian food.
Through this trip I was able to make allot of new friends and develop my drama skills as whole, both performing and acquiring knowledge.
We arrived in Sri Lanka at 1 am on Monday 1st, we were then provided with transport to the OSC campus and where then picked by our parents at around 2 am in the morning. Through those four days i was able to take notes and therefore reflect on this trip and share my new knowledge with the rest of my drama class who chose to stay in Sri Lanka.
